Guess who I'm not voting for in the Governor race.  HOW IS A SECOND PAYCHECK DETRIMENTAL.  GUESS ME AND MY OVARIES SHOULD JUST QUIT AND STAY HOME WAITING FOR MR. STORK, PASSING THE TIME BY MAKING SAMMICHES.

Also, Marvel being bought by Disney?  True.  Hopefully, this means Marvel won't run out of money.  Not sure how it's going to affect Disney comic properties or future Marvel movies, but who knows.

Snow Leopard is fantastic.  I declare victory in my battle against Photoshop force-quits.  :D

Wow, I actually want to read that "road map" now. Sounds interesting, and not in the "sign me up" sort of way.
It's apparently publicly available at the Regent University library. Regent's an uber-conservative Christian school that was founded by Pat Robertson.
How is a second paycheck detrimental?
Actually when I told my mom about this because my dad is a big supporter of Mcdonnell, purely because he went to school with him and play football with him, which is a totally acceptable reason to vote for someone(and I'm not being sarcastic there), and she gave a whole bunch of economical reasons why in certain cases a second paycheck is detrimental.

Depending on how much the second paycheck maker makes it can actually push the family into a different tax bracket. Depending on the area they may also need a second car and then pay for gas and then a whole lot of other little possible things such as a daycare and what not if needed. Now I'm not saying a second paycheck from a woman can be detrimental, just that a second paycheck from anyone can be detrimental. Can be. Actually when my mom decided to start working again after awhile she sat down and did all the math and realized she was pretty much working for nothing. Now I'm sure this isn't what McDonnell was talking about, probably. That's just how it is possible for a second paycheck can be detrimental. :)
The second car and daycare thing makes sense. Good point. You win a cookie! (Now if only I knew where to send it.)
